The allowed steal
Stealing is part of the official loop. You take a Brainrot from another player's base while that base is unlocked, then carry it to your own base.
A locked base is closed for the timer on the lock. Do not treat a locked door as a puzzle this guide will solve. Glitches into a locked base, crashing another player, and script executors are outside normal play.
What guides say happens while you carry
Several gameplay descriptions agree on three effects while a stolen unit is in your hands: the owner is alerted, your movement slows, and your items stop working. Exact speed numbers are not stable across write-ups. Believe the slowdown you feel in the current server.
A short raid
- Lock your own base before you leave.
- Prefer an open base near yours. A long carry gives the owner and everyone else more time to hit you.
- Take one unit you can name. If it is on your next Rebirth list, that is a reason to take it. If you already own the requirement, a higher displayed rate matters more than the rarity label.
- If the target locks, or you lose the carry, go home and lock again.
- After a successful carry, lock before you open the shop or the Rebirth menu.
Gear is not a bypass
Rebirth unlocks tools such as the Invisibility Cloak (listed at Rebirth 4), Web Slinger (Rebirth 6), and Quantum Cloner (Rebirth 7). They change a chase. They do not open a locked base. Slap and troll gear are in the official shop description; they are still ordinary items, not a license to harass someone off the server.
Do not hand units to strangers
Older rebirth tips tell players to park rare units on a second account. That is a community workaround, not a protected transfer. Never share a password, and never give a valuable Brainrot to someone you do not control on the promise they will return it.
