Two different lock timers
A gameplay reference separates them:
| Moment | Reported duration |
|---|---|
| The automatic lock when you join | 30 seconds, even after you have rebirths |
| The lock you press yourself at 0 rebirths | 60 seconds |
| Each rebirth | +10 seconds on that manual lock |
The examples in that reference match the formula 60 + 10 Γ rebirths: 80 seconds at 2 rebirths, 110 at 5, and 240 at 18. A February 2026 base video adds a reported +10 seconds from VIP. Confirm that on the current game pass before you buy it.
The timer always ends. Lock again when you return. There is no passive lock that stays up for the whole session in these descriptions.
Floors and slots
Published base guides line up on the early floors and disagree on the final slot count:
- You start on one floor.
- Rebirth 2 is the tier that adds a second floor in both the August 16, 2026 rewards table and a February 2026 base video.
- Rebirth 10 is the tier tied to a third floor in that same pair of sources.
- The February video talks about 27 slots by Rebirth 18. The August table talks about one added slot on rebirths 2 through 19 and 28 slots at Rebirth 19.
Count the pads in your base. Do not sell a high earner because a chart promised an extra floor you cannot see.
What to protect
Put the unit you cannot replace, especially a named Rebirth requirement, where you can reach the lock quickly. Filler income can sit on the easier pads. Sentries and traps from the rebirth shop, such as All Seeing Sentry at Rebirth 7, are defenses. They are not a reason to leave the base unlocked.
Base skins
Base videos describe Gold, Diamond, and Rainbow base skins as Index rewards for collecting about 75% of that mutation, with a reported 0.5Γ income bonus. A more detailed Index note says permanent and seasonal sets do not share one percentage. Open the in-game Index and read the bar for the mutation you are collecting.
