Rebirth is permanent progress bought with a reset. The August 16, 2026 requirements table lists 19 levels. Retrieved notes for Updates 67 through 69 do not announce a 20th level. If your panel shows another level, trust the panel.
You must finish the levels in order. The button is described as the rotating-arrows control on the left.
Update 66 changed the Brainrot wipe
A community Rebirth page says that before Update 66 (September 12, 2026) a rebirth took every Brainrot in the base, and that the update changed this so only the required Brainrots are taken.
That sentence does not settle cash or gear. The August table, written before Update 66, says cash drops to the bonus in the reward column, and its intro also says gear is lost. Another older gameplay page says items are kept. Read the confirmation text in your session and believe that text.
Units already walking to your base are described as returning to the carpet if you rebirth. A steal that is already in progress can make that unit disappear. Do not confirm a rebirth in the middle of a carry.
Requirements that several tables share
Cash short scale used below: K thousand, M million, B billion, T trillion, Qa quadrillion. Brainrot names are exact. A similar name is not a substitute. Trippi Troppi and Trippi Troppi Troppa Trippa are different units.

Every level in that reward table also adds +10 seconds of lock time. There is no x14 row; Rebirth 15 is listed as x15. The x0.5 on Rebirth 1 is printed that way in the table. Do not assume it means either a penalty or a +0.5 add until your panel shows the result.
Rebirth 1 used to ask for Tung Tung Tung Sahur. That unit was removed over a rights complaint and Gangster Footera took the slot. Owners at the time were described as receiving Gangster Footera in its place. Tung Tung Tung Sahur has also been described as returning later, without taking the Rebirth 1 slot back.
Rebirth 9 is called the first tier that asks for a Brainrot God, which matches Cocofanto Elefanto. Rebirth 8 is called the last tier that asks for a Mythic.
When to press it
Press it when the panel's requirements are met, you have read what will be removed, and you can rebuild income afterward. Waiting with a replaceable base just to admire it is slow. Resetting while a required name is missing does nothing useful. Grief Shield at Rebirth 19 is described as absorbing one hit and not blocking the owner of a Brainrot you are stealing.
